LION justice Amos Twinomujuni died yesterday evening

A statement issued by Erias Kisawuzi, the Judiciary spokesperson indicates that Twinomujuni succumbed to cancer at Kololo Hospital on Friday evening.

According to Kisawuzi, Twinomujuni has been battling cancer for more than two years.

Twinomujuni was appointed to the Supreme Court mid this year in an attempt to raise the quorum in the court.

However, Twinomujuni didn’t hear any cases because of illness. Prior to his appointment to the Supreme Court, Justice Twinomujuni served in the Court of Appeal.
